Freezer is full to bursting

I just tried to put the bag of fish into my bottom freezer and there is legit not a single spot where I could fit it. Both the upper drawer and the bottom spaces are completely jam-packed with food. This is a nice problem to have I know. We also have a freezer down in the basement that is similarly stocked. No more buying meat (or fish) for us for quite awhile. It will just be fresh vegetables/fruit, dairy, and grains. That should be nice on the wallet. I just put the striped bass in the fridge. I'll make some of it for dinner tomorrow. The rest I will put in another bag and hope it will fit in the basement freezer later.

That's great! All of our freezers are mostly empty now. Have to go shopping when we get to Florida.

@DianneN I look forward to it! 8 more years and I can retire at 48. I won't have the age of 55 but I'll have the health benefits. I'll just take a hit on my pension.

I have this problem right now too. We are actively trying to use up what's in the freezers. Yesterday I made chicken pot pie and used garden carrots, peas, and beans from the freezer. But now the leftover chicken pie is in the freezer

I don't like it when the freezer or fridge is too full, it makes it harder to find something.
