it is known that people have to sleep to function, and that normal time of sleep is about 8 hours; but becouse of studying working and partying people often sleep less... or sleep in afternoon too... but can we function by living in that way?
I, for example, sleep about 3-4 hours a night and it is enough for me that way... i function normaly, but that is just pure training becouse of type of lifestyle... for some people 9 hours isnt enough and i wonder why.
Also 6 months ago I tried sleeping just 2 hours a night... i was sleeping 1 hour in the afternoon and 1 hour through the night... honestly first week was hard and I was really tired, but after that week i used to it and i started acting normal, with more free time to use on different activities, it was enjoyable... but after month of living like that I wasnt tired but my mind just stoped working... I wasnt tired at all and i could do anything but I couldnt concentrate on any mathematical problems, so i started sleeping normaly again.
I wish people could live normaly without sleep, to have more time..
what are your thoughts about sleeping?

I'll say this I'm the same way. I have suffered from Insomnia since basically I was born. I can stay up 20 hours and sleep 4 hours doing that for a month until my eyes are almost completely blood shot. However when I'm really lucky ill sleep 10 - 12 hours sometime in that month. I am same way as you if I stay up and rarely sleep I can still do most things anyone else can do but for me I lack motivation to do things. I catch myself feeling more lazy as well. Yes I agree wish we humans didn't have to sleep that be awesome lol. To not feel tired we could get so much done it would be insane!
