I was asked this question when I talked to a new friend earlier.
Apparently, she wanted to know whether I am a movie-goer or not. The problem is, I love popcorn but I rarely watch movies in the cinema. Most of the time, I went to cinema just to buy a nice, caramelized fresh popcorn, and went back.
So it kind of turned into an awkward conversation.
Have you ever be asked this kind of question?

The conversation went like this;
New Friend (NF): Are you a popcorn girl?
Me : I am! I love them!
NF : Really? Have you watched this, this, and this? Hey, we can go watch the new Sp*****an movie together!
Me : Actually, I rarely watched movies in cinema. I simply go there to buy popcorn.
NF : Oh. I see.

I don't think I have been, but I don't get popcorn at the movies unless it is free..as it outrageously expensive there.

Yeah, it can get pricy, but the local cinema is the only place thatmakes good popcorn that no store-bought popcorn can beat.

Seems like too long time a go, I guess. The last time I went to watch movie in cinema is like eight years ago.
