The best bond movie ever...it reminds me on the old ones with sean conery where the bond girls aren't easy. Do you know that in 2008 there will be james bond no.22, it will continue from the events in casino royale. The film was planed to go out in 2007 because of the 007 in the year quite catchy but unfortunately they didn't came to agreement

I hope the next one will be better than Royale.
The story line is just as important as the action.
And hopefully, they will make better use of all the gadgets they equip bond with. It is such a waste to see such nice vehicles and weapons go to waste if they blow it up before bond has a chance to unleash them onto the bad guys!

I managed to watch the DVD during the weekend and found the action really good. That is all. The storyline is not much of a wow... but it is watchable.
It is a kinda love and hate movie.
Love the movie enough to be willing to sit thru the whole show, hate it enough to not want to keep it.
I bought the DVD for the sake of completing the collection. Else, it is not worth it to buy and keep. A good movie to fill up that void during the weekend IMHO.
This is my take on the movie.
The action sequeces were good. Vey high impact with lots of adrenaline pumping scenes.
This new James Bond is really brutal when he handles the bad guys. No mercy. No feelings when he offs them. In fact, he seems to get off on it.
I was a little lost in the beginning of the show as the mission of 007 is not very clear. It was only after Bond broke into M's apartment that I have a little idea of what his mission is about.
Comparing with the previous installments of the Bond saga, Royale Casino cannot hold a candle to any of them. Other than a high action pack movie, it does not bring about the mystery and suspense that the other movies has.
