Is Mylot bugged?

When I logged in just now, I was surprised to saw there's 43 notifications waiting for me.
43.
I am not an active mylotter.
My average post is a single post a month.
Usually there's one or two notification waiting for me, five is the maximum. But 43?
When I clicked on the notification page, it shows three person responding to my discussion.
The other 40 notifications? It was the notification of a mylotter liking a certain comment of mine.
It repeated 39 times.
Well, I simply clicked the 'x' at the end of each notification. But it intrigues me.
Is this a normal occurences here?

There must be wrong with your internet connection. Same thing happens to me sometimes when my internet gets weak.

@peachpurple Oh, it's fine today. There's no more repeating notifications. Thank goodness.

Yes it is. That was yesterday. But when I logged in today, it was fine. Must be just a glitch then.

I hope it is just a temporary glitch. The notifications is fine the next day.
