So.... we have Comcast; just the internet, no cable. We have comcast because SOMEONE ran up a $500 bill with the other internet company in town and won't be paying it.
NOT ONLY does Comcast have a data cap of 1TB, but they have a data cap on perhaps the crappiest internet ever. They say we hit our data cap every month which I highly doubt we do and after that 1TB data cap they charge $10 per 50GB which pretty much leads us to pay $100+ every month for this crao when its supposed to be $55 - $75 soewhere in that range. With the other site I was supposedly getting slower speeds but it wasn't noticeable and there was NO data cap so I could use it all I wanted.
I have been trying to work all day, surfing and getting some others sites done) and my internet just keeps going down, I am constantly getting the notification that I'm not on the internet anymore.
Concast is the worse internet company ever and now that net neutrality isn't in their way, they are going to get worse.

We have Comcast-everything, and we've needed the Comcast guy to come to our house many, many times. TV probs, cable probs (I'm ALWAYS calling them because I get that stupid message, "Something's not quite right.")
And I'm still mad at them for getting rid of Channel 101, the local, non-stop, ongoing Weather Channel with the radar and satellite and all that. They just got rid of it. With no warning. And it was the best channel to keep on in the background, sure, the music would get a little annoying, but you could always see the weather and what was coming your way. Now they just say to tune into the regular Weather Channel, and they only show the local on the 8's, not even which direction the wind is coming from, or how it will be in the next 5 days, just today and tomorrow. Big deal, I can look outside right now and tell you what the weather is.
So I'm with ya.

We've always had comcast, for over 10 years. Never had a problem with them.
