one of my grand daughter had one of her pet rats pass away yesterday... his name was Onyx, and so we had a ceremony for him at 6 o'clock last night. everyone showed up and we buried him said our prayers for him...... then we had a party for him and ordered pizza and we spent the rest of the evening having fun, that is everyone had fun except Onyx///// I will put a tombstone in the pet cemetery in honor of Onyx later today...RIP Onyx

My older grandsons have pet rats. I am not that keen but they love them.

When I hear about pet rats, I remember my father´s lab rats when I was a child. I went with him on Sundays to feed them as the man in charge was not there. They were cute but very smelly creatures. I don´t think I´d have them for pets. Still, RIP
