The best way to lose weight is to change your eating habits. Replace all junk food with fruits and vegetables. Fruits and Raw veggies make great snacks and you can eat pretty much all you want. Stay away from sugar as much as possible. Also stay away from the processed foods. They have a lot of sugar and salt. Almost every canned food has sugar add to it. Learn all the names of the sugar added to the foods. Eat like a king in the morning a prince at noon and a pauper in the evening. In other words eat a very large breakfast a medium size lunch and very little for supper. Drink lots of water. If you don't like water add some lemon juice or unsweetened kool ade to the water. and get some exercise. walking for 30 min a day even walking for 10 min at a time is good

goodI forgot something that helps me is a smaller plate. It fools me onto thinking I have more food than I do. another trick is to take at least 30 min. to eat. It takes a good 20 min for your stomach to tell your brain that it ia full. We eat so fast that our brain is told that you are full when actually you are stuffed. Our super sized nation dose not help.

another idea, is make sure you eat when you are HUNGRY. be aware if you are eating out of boredom, depression or social reasons (like 'going out for a coffee' with a friend). try not to eat while watching tv or sifting through mylot. when you are distracted from the food, it's easier to overeat, because you don't notice yourself getting full. snacking at the tv is probably one of the easiest ways people gain weight ;)

as far hurting suffering there has been things I have done that would cause this and then there are something that will not cause this first of no diet pills, secondly workout at a comfortable pace, drink pleaty of water and lets say you were going to eat a whole sandwitch for lunch why not eat half and when your hunger pains kick in eat the other half. I am on the same boat as far as weight loss because I dont stay devoted I need a coach hehe

The easiest way to lose weight without exercising in my opinion is to cut down your food intake. You can eat anything you want but the trick is to shrink your stomach size. For example, if you're going to have McD's today, eat half of the burger and half of the fries..leave the rest. I know it seems wasteful but it does work. Gradually cut the size of the portions from half to a quarter. In the first few weeks you won't see much weight loss but when it starts to drop it will drop drastically. It may not be healthy but it's how I did it.

If you're going to try this (it's for lazy people like me), please do remember a few things. Never let it slide into bulimia or anorexia. After a while, you just don't eat much anymore and will sometimes feel full even though you've not eaten a bite! Always force something down, anything you want but not too much and make it stay in there. Good Luck!! *hugs*

You probably won’t be able to work out enough to make up for eating a huge meal. Exercise just does not burn enough calories. If you eat a slice of apple pie a la mode that is 500 calories, you’ll have to walk briskly for two hours to burn those calories. So, you won’t lose weight unless you also cut calories.

If you find out, please let me know! :)) I'm thinkin' diet pills? Only I hate drs, or rather hate going to the doctor.. There's one sold on the internet, but it was like a dollar a pill! Maybe the price will go down. So I saved the link in case it does!

They say an herb "hoodia" something works good for lots of folks, but my stomach didn't care for that! Yes, I'm looking for an easy way too. They say walking is the best exercise, if you're lucky enough to have lots of land, or a safe place to walk.

If you can afford it, a high protein, high veggie, and some fruits (strawberries seem to have the least carbs) - They even sell some Lo-Carb breads.. Lots a water.. and walking.. or music and dancing.. Last time I got on a good diet, etc. I imagined it everyday for awhile.. I was doing real good.. then my husband injured his knee and was home, and my habits got lost.. that was two years ago! So I'm thinking once on course, best to stay on course.

Green Tea helps curb hunger - it makes you feel fuller and helps your metabolism. I found pilates to be amazingly helpful. Once I got the core stomach muscles in shape I was much more careful about what I ate since I did not want to ruin my hard work. Best wishes.

if you feel nauseous you are either doing the exercise too vigorously or you may have an inner ear balance problem (i have been a test subject for motion sickness tests).
i can only sympathise with you, as i get nauseous VERY easily, even sometimes while doing exercise.
all the ways you mentioned, like rowing machine, bike etc, all involve small movements of the eyes/head/vestibular system. without even realizing it, you may be getting motion sick from these types of exercises. have you tried swimming?
i use turbojam which can be used about 10-15 minutes a day just to keep healthy, but up to an hour a day if you want to start losing pounds. it is less boring than most exercise because it combines everything into one routine...aerobics, kickboxing, cardio etc, and because you never repeat moves one after another, less likely to get motion sick from repeated movements.
but main thing is not to overdo any type of exercise. if you feel like you might pass out, you've done too much. also, do not eat or drink during or before your exercise unless you absolutely feel parched...i have made myself almost pass out by mistakenly doing that! not fun, and i could only get through 5 minutes of my workout!

I have tried many diets too. Atkins worked for me. But when I need to drop pounds quickly, I eat nothing but meat and drink about 60 ounces of water a day. I do this for 3-4 days and can drop about 5 pounds without any exercise. It works and is not harmful to your body. I knew a girl who did it for a month and dropped 18 pounds. I won't do it that long, because I am not as young as she is.

I was around 190lbs and 5'10 a few years back now I'm 167lbs. Most important is not to do bodybuilding exercises but do cardio instead. Get a treadmill and use it while watching tv. Now, if you want to loose weight real fast maybe you can use this supplement. This supplement is made by Muscletech and it's called Hydroxycut. My friends who are more overweight than me used it and you can dramatically see the difference within a month. Although that supplement is not for everyone it can cause heartburns and other stuff. Best to consult with your doctor first.

Be sure to eat ENOUGH! You should be able to meet your caloric needs and still lose weight if you focus on eating lots of low calorie, high volume foods.

i think exercising is still the best. you can exercise in just simple ways, like maybe walk to work or to the store (as long as it's not too far) or take the stairs. and when you get into an exercise routine just stick to it. because many people said they've tried exercising but didn't lose weight anf invariably that's because they quit even before they could see results. and above all eat healthy. never starve yourself because after that you'll just have an eating binge and that makes it entirely pointless.

In West Virginia it is now 13 degrees, so I am not going to go out walking with you; but 2 years ago I lost almost 50# just by walking - no diet - just walking consistently - not running, not jogging - just walking. When it gets just a tad bit warmer, I will be your walking buddy if you wish. We can keep a journal together and share some ups/downs and love ~Donna

Step 1 Once you reach target, add 250 calories a day to your existing daily calorie intake. This means if you’ve been having 1,250 calories each day, you should now have 1,500 calories a day.
Step 2 After a week, weigh yourself on your usual scales. You’ll probably have lost a little more weight. If so, add another 250 calories to last week’s daily allowance. So, if you were having 1,500 calories a day, now have 1,750 calories daily.
Step 3 After a week, weigh yourself again. If you’ve lost more weight, add an extra 250 calories to your daily intake, for example from 1,750 calories to 2,000 calories each day.
Step 4 After a week, if your weight has stabilised that’s the amount of calories you need each day to keep your new slim shape. If you’ve gained a tiny amount, drop your daily calorie intake by 100 calories, for example, from 2,000 calories to 1,900 calories daily. After a week, weigh yourself again. If your weight has stayed the same, that’s the amount of calories you need each day for weight maintenance. If your weight has gone up or down, juggle your daily calorie intake by 50 calories a day until your weight eventually stabilises.
Step 5 Weigh yourself once a week on your usual scales until you are confident that you’re maintaining your healthy weight.
