Bluetotth is better. I had infrared on my old cellphone and you had to hold it just exact so it could make the connection with my computer. Which was annoying. So thats why I like bluetooth, because you dont have to line it up with your computer you just need to have it within 30 feet I think.

Bluetooth is definitely better as the range is more and also it works across small obstacles while IR need very close proximity and nothing between at all.
Also I feel the transfer speeds with BT is better than IR.
Of course appliances with B T are a little more expensive and BT drains the batteries a little more faster

but even infrared doesnt have any wires but point is u have to keep both the devices in touch of each other in case of infrared wich is not required in cases of bluetooth..u can transfer ur data from some distance depending upon the range of bluetooth dongal...
so BT is better any day

I like Bluetooth because Bluetooth has got much higher transfer rate than Infrared. Additionally, Bluetooth doesn't require line of sight as in the case of infrared where the infrared ports of both the devices need to face each other in a line of sight. In the case of bluetooth, the devices can be placed anywhere within the range of the device, which ranges from 10 to 100 meters

I think bluetooth is better than infrared. Because, blueotooh is faster than infrared. Beside that, bluetooth is easier to use.

i think bluetooth is better than infrared because infrared only travels in straight line and bluetooth covers atleast an area of 10m radius.

Bluetooth is obviously better than IR, since in case of Infrared you need to keep the two communicating devices face to face as long as communication is in progress, which is wiered.
In case of Bluetooth, you two bluetooth enabled devices can communicate even being 30-100 feet apart even if they are in two different rooms. Bluetooth gives you total wirefree.

I think bluetooth is better.Because you have to put the device you are connecting to through infrared in a fixed position.
