Should a topic that insult women and call them as stupid,Be on top in MYLOT?????

I don't think or accept the fact that any gender should be insulted or called stupid on mylot. Yes it is humiliating and most of the time I skip those type posts and try to find more that have used common sense and their manners as I feel they deserve my response to earn.

Humiliating? They’re only words, if you’re offended by words heaven forbid anyone actually go out into the world and deal with actions. Women -are- stupid, just as men -are- stupid, when one speaks generally the vast majority will overrule and I’m sure there is more stupid people than there are that hold the now becoming rare-sense.

No, I don't accept that. However, people are entitled to their own opinions regardless of how misguided they may be. I know debating a concept such as stupidity will not change that guys mind. Maybe he is in a country where they treat women badly? It is not his fault he grew up in the culture that is barbaric.

If the topic called women stupid, it was a general statement that would allow my to post my feelings on the intellect of the person that started it. If it was a discussion that stated a name, such as Sunset is a stupid lady, then I would take offense to it. I don't know what happened in the discussion starter's life that may have made him/her have those feelings. But I would welcome the oppurtunity to try to influence them that they may be wrong. I don't like some of the posters on here calling others names because they do not agree with each other. But a general statement such as are women stupid I would answer, and maybe started a counter attack by starting a discussion such as are women genuises.

I agree, it shouldn't be there. The problem is it's an automatic thing... When a thread is popular, it just ends up there, no matter what kind of thread it is. I think, highlighted or not, threads like that should not be started at all.

No topic that insults anybody should be on top in mylot let alone on the site all together!

Yeah I think that is pretty degrading to women, I mean I would hate it if there was a topic "are all guys arrogant boneheads" and that was on the top of mylot. Im a guy by the way.

Any question that puts down any gender, race, orientation is wrong..but so far mylot allows them as they don't seem to get deleted. If you don't like it ignore it. If it's offensive..don't take offense...just consider the source..bored people looking to get points by posting anything..
