My previous discussion with the same header picture and number was deleted right in the middle of me commenting back to the responses it had received. It’s okay, I’m not bitter or ranting or anything… I understand there must be a reason for it and most likely it was because it’s considered to be merely just a milestones post of me wishing everyone Happy Holidays... 
So if anyone happens to plan on having a similar post, please take note of what happened to mine. Do not do it. Make sure your posts have more than just greetings with contents worth discussing and within all the points stated in the site’s guidelines. Don’t risk deletion. It’s pretty strange finding out my own comment went to ‘Null’ as it got posted on my own discussion... 
I’m sorry to those who had posted the 15 responses it received. I’ve read them all, but I only had a chance to comment back on 5 of those responses before the entire discussion got deleted... 
Anyway, let me try again with my greetings here…
May the season bring much joy to each one of us that last throughout the New Year and beyond… My warmest wishes to you all on this wonderful Holiday… Peace to all!

Sometimes it isn't that a post was deleted but that it disappeared because of a glitch, that's happened to mine a few times. Did you ask Alex?@sishy7 (27167)

Oh, really? No, I didn't ask admin... I just accepted what happened. I did feel the post was too short - I was just too excited to share the picture and the greetings but couldn't really think of what else to write... By the way, what does that cool hand sign mean - is it for Victory, or Peace, or something else?

You got me! I sure don't but I do know who Mr Spock was... He's about the only character I know from Star Trek, probably because of his unusual-shaped ears... I don't even remember who's the captain, I can picture his face because I know it's William Shatner, but his character's name escaped me.

That other one was posted for 12 hours... I hope this one would stay for good. I know a respectable myLotter whose post was deleted very long later after it was posted, stayed and even popularly interacted on. So, we'll never know... Only admin can remove discussions, and can be done at anytime...

No, it's not prohibited. But we are supposed to create a post worthy of discussion. Not just consisting of the greetings and not much else... My deleted post had less than 5 sentences and mostly just saying how I noticed many posts about the holiday seasons already and me wanting to join in the greetings. Then I added my greetings and that was basically it. So my guess was it's deleted because it's too short and did not have enough content worthy of discussion.

I was just commenting to someone how do you know if your post gets deleted. I didn't know that was what the 'null' was all about. I've had that once or twice but I don't remember if it was on one of my own posts or on someone else's.

@sishy7 I am not keen on the family gathering which I have to attend. Such occasions have always been a hit or a miss event, as in, some years everyone was so happy with each other, then some year, some bad things would happen... Some might got drunk and blurted out a certain secret, and the others hastily tried to hush thing up. So awkward!
