This morning I came across a very old looking woman

As usual, I walk to the office if I am not late or if it doesn't rain. On my way to the office, I saw a woman standing at the side of the road. She seemed to be waiting until the traffic let up. I watched her for a while. I thought it was not possible for her to cross over to the other side unless someone gave her a hand. Since I had more time I thought I would help her cross the road. I waved my hand to drivers from both directions to slow down, and they did.
Finally I was able to grab her hand and guided her to cross the road.
In our country zebra cross means nothing to motorists. This is one of the things I am disappointed in.
I hope this morning is a great day to you all.

It is always nice to help others and it was so kind of you to do this for her. Some humans just don't seem to realize we are all in this together.

The problem is that the traffic is very bad. Even it is difficult for young people to cross such busy streets.

@yanzalong It is a shame motorists do not respect the zebra crossings.

@yanzalong I've never heard that before, but it's cool.

That was really nice of you. Pedestrians definitely have the right away here, but that doesn't mean everyone follows the rules.

When I was in London, I saw the traffic rules were well followed.
