1/4 maam?

in most of my handled class, when i want to give quiz or some activities to students, i usually ask them to get 1/4 or 1/2 sheet of paper. after a few minutes explaining to them for their activity. most of students raised their hands and ask a question. to my inquiry, i try to entertain that question but sad to say that the question is. "1/4 maam?", when several times i told them the size of the paper. instead to be angry with them, as an instructor i politely answer them.....have you experienced this in your life?

I also became a student and had also asked that question frequently around my classmates for the purpose of irritating them and also to be certain on where must we scribbled the answer but the real main reason why we tend to ask is because we don’t listen to the instruction being told.

Yeah students are pretty much interested in gossips than lectures.

Oh yes, their mind is preoccupied with something else when you told them the paper size...
