Virginia went Democratic; Alabama went Democratic. Does this mean anything about a general swing in politics in this country, is it a reaction to the president, or something else?

Personally anything anymore does not surprise me. I honestly think no Party affiliation can make or break what is happening here in the US. So their is a change. Hopefully they will be Happy with it.
