What's That White Stuff?

Ofcourse its snow! I knew it would be coming with it being so cold but did it have to come this morning, did it have to come today? It meant a 2 hour delay for schools, which meant our ladies Bible study was cancelled. Which meant we weren't having our Christmas party. A friend of mine and I cooked the Christmas cookies on Tuesday for this Christmas party and they turned out very well.
I have to say; "I cheated kind of"! My husband bought the Nestle Tollhouse cookies, lol! All you do is preheat the oven, cut them apart, put them on a cookie sheet watch them hoping and praying they get done like they are supposed to, but no they had to cook longer than the directions said!
They turned out ok. I had my friend taste test them and she confirmed they were good.
So now what? What do I do with the cookies? Well one of the ladies from the Bible study group called me, bless her heart to make sure I knew we cancelled our Bible study group which meant no Christmas party. I told her I saw online where there was a 2 hour delay, which meant no Bible study! She said to just put my cookies in the freezer until next week. So guys I hope they'll taste just as good next Thursday unless theres more of that white stuff! Thank you God for the snow as You say in Your word to be thankful for everything!
Did you have any plans cancelled because of the white stuff?

@Butchcass4 freeze cookies all the time, because we are only two of us. I also dislike when my husband has to drive with the snow.

@LadyDuck Thanks so much for the tip on frozen cookies as I wasn't sure about freezing them. It's great you were able to maintain your schedule. Our dirt road that leads out to a main road is always worse than the main roads. I am very paranoid about driving on the snow after a near accident. I get butterflys in my stomach at the thought of having to drive in it.

@KristenH Sorry you got a lot of snow. I know its a real pain. Beautiful to look at from inside our homes but having to go out in it is a real pain.

@Butchcass4 Well it's officially winter without snow, right? It's going to be a mild Christmas holiday weekend this year. I hear you on that one.

@AmbiePam It was a bummer but I'm just glad I didn't have to drive in the snow as I am afraid to drive in the snow after a near accident a few years ago. What part of the United States do you live in? We live in Northeastern PA.

@JudyEv O my you are blessed not having snow. I kinda have a feeling we will have a mild winter. We have the past two years. I hope I'm right. Will let you know. @LadyDuck said it is good to freeze them. She must know what she's talking about. We will see this Thursday. I will pull them out Wednesday night.

@Butchcass4 Anna certainly knows a lot about cooking and freezing. If she says it's okay I'm sure it is.

@JohnRoberts Well you are blessed not to have to mess with snow that's for certain. I do not like the cold period! How cold does it get in Los Angeles, CA?

@rina110383 Where do you live? I guess there are some good things about snow if you like to be out in it. Like skiing, sled riding, ice skating and snowball fights! I personally am not into any of that! I stay in where its warm and only leave when I have to! Do you know Jesus?
