Living in the UK has its advantages in that we rarely experience extreme cold conditions. The disadvantage is also that snow is a rarity and we are extremely lucky if we experience perhaps 5 minutes of sleet!
So, last weekend was a unique event in that we had a tremendous amount of snowfall. Well, as you would expect people were out and about building snowmen, some quite tall!
Now, here's the thing. The snow has all disappeared, not a single flake to be seen except for those wonderful snowmen! They are still alive and present. Have you experienced or noticed that? For some reason they just melt tremendously slowly if the conditions are cold and they are very cold right now. It is really nice to see and I call them snow bombs!
What do you think? I won't even bother thinking about the science but this is another beautiful thing when it comes to nature.

Oh, snow is lovely. It is a shame that you have never experienced this. Still, never say never!

No, haven't experienced/noticed it because we don't have snow here.
