Why should I become a magistrate?

If the money isn't better than whatever you're doing now or whatever other options you have, you will at least get the satisfaction of being involved in getting justice for people. That's always a noble cause. Not to mention they give you one of those little hammer thingees. ;)

Upon further scrutiny, I think it's far nmore likely that you will spend more time in front of a magistrate (if you haven't been already) than your chances of ever being one. Rock on!
