Good afternoon. When you met your husband or wife was it a fling or relationship? How can you tell if what you have is going to develop into a serious relationship, For me dating was a fling and not into relationship ... Was this a long term deal for you. Photo online.

Hubby and I worked at the same place when we met each other - we became good friends - but we were already dating someone else. We started talking often about the things going wrong in our relationships . . . and suddenly one day we decided we were actually better for each other. So over 30 years later, we are still together .

When my husband and I started dating, it was pretty much the 3rd or 4 date, when we realized it was more than just a fling, we really thought we were meant to be together. We married a year and 2 months after our first date. We are coming upon, soon, being married 30 years.

We met at a dancing place and kept having dates. A year later, he asked me to marry him. Said Yes and we have been together since then.

I met my husband in the office where I worked. I was dating another guy, but in a few weeks I knew that my husband was the man of my life. We married after 6 month, this was 46 years ago.

I guess maybe ours would have been called a fling. We split up at one stage for some months but then got back together again.

Love at first site as soon as we met there was a connection. It was as though we had known each other all of our lives. Things moved along really quickly for us.

I know with both of my husbands that it would lead to a great relationship. I was lucky to find love twice in my life time.

Anne and I met online nearly ten years ago next April. She lived the other side of the Cascade mountains and drove the 100 miles to meet me one weekend. The affair soon turned serious and there were many trips back and forth for both of us, then, before winter came, she moved here to be with me.

When my girlfriend and I met we had both gotten out of terrible relationships. We were just friends leaning on each other. Once we started really hanging out we realized we had alot in common and mutual feelings began to develop.

Sometime when we're dating someone, we thought that it was fling, but as the time past, we thought that he/she is the one that we're looking for
