What did you have for breakfast today?

As many of you know, I work three jobs and also play music and do speaker restoration. That allows me to "live comfortably," which in turn allows me to eat well. This morning, I got lost in progress notes, and had had only coffee when 9:30 AM rolled around. I decided it was time for a tasty and nutritious breakfast before heading into work. You can see what I had in the picture. The raw weenie was by Oscar Mayer, the cigarette was by American Spirit, and the Coke was by...well...Coke. I'm not sure yet what I'm having for lunch, but I may head to Trader Joe's before I decide. Was your breakfast as elaborate and healthy as mine?

I had some green tea, leftover chips from the kids' restaurant food from the other night (chips as in restaurant made potato chips, not fries), and their leftover cream of wheat from this morning. Sometimes I feel like a human garbage disposal .

At the preschool, we "don't share food." But I am SO tempted to gobble up what the kids leave on their plates during snack time. I know their parents do at home.

@TheHorse In school I can totally understand not sharing food. At home, we try not to share food either, especially during this season because who knows what sickie germs they might be bringing in from school. But I broke the rule this morning . . . because I was lazy.

@much2say I Just assume I'm getting a little inoculation. Bring on those germs! In small quantities.

I can't remember how many years ago it was since I ate a 'breakfast' @TheHorse . What; no mustard, ketchup or relish? Where's the bun (besides the cute one on your backside). My main meal of the day is around 1ish. Then I might scrape something together around 6ish.

Heh. Clearly I need to go shopping. You've mentioned that you don't do breakfast. Doesn't your tummy hurt by Noon?

I wouldn't call that healthy. My breakfast - Three eggs - scrambled, three pieces of bacon, one nice sized half inch thick med. rare steak, and a baked potato and water. I'm thinking about fish for later.

Well this morning I had a breakfast hot pocket. Yesterday, I had cereal. I think you need a woman in your life..the Horse. They wouldn't let you get away with a breakfast that bad!

How come you didn't toast the bread? I would if I had a toaster. The mice used my last one as a buffet table/outhouse and I haven't bought another one since.

I think I had to skip lunch because of circumstances beyond my control. I did get a bunch of progress notes turned in, though.

Was a sweetener involved? I like brown sugar or maple syrup. I wonder if Trader Joe's has shredded wheat. My life could have new meaning. I've had my new blender for a couple of months now.

I don't eat anything for breakfast. Although I'll never miss afternoon and evening meals. Your breakfast seems simple it is still a meal as long as you are full afterwards.

You know, that's how I see it. I made a joke of it, but it got the job done. It's like eating cake for breakfast. As far as your body knows, it's no different than a couple of slices of toast and extra sugar in your coffee.

Actually I think this is not at all nutritious but also unhealthy.
