Two-in-one pasta

Malaysia

Today, I made pasta. Nothing fancy, I simply boiled a packet of San Remo Elbows, divide them into two, one part for breakfast and another for dinner. I popped a can of carbonara sauce and a can of mushroom for breakfast. For dinner, it will be a can of tomato sauce and a cup of frozen mix veggies. The overall cost is RM20. That is like five dollar to feed a family of six members for breakfast and dinner. If we go to a diner, the price for a plate of pasta is around RM10. Do the math.

Thanks I try to save money whenever and wherever possible. It is not everyday that I can cook meals, though.

That is a good bargain but I am not a fan of pasta for breakfast.

Yes, it is a good deal indeed. No worries, you can have pasta whenever you feel like it. I made it for breakfast since my family prefer rice and protein for lunch.
