I got these badges from China. Had to place the order quite early as they were sent to me by post and it took almost a month.
We had numbered the badges which the guests pinned them on. The lucky number got a prize. They would be souvenirs of the party.
What is the main feature of your Christmas parties?

I was just trying to visualise you at that party. The moment you arrive you will rush to the buffet table and help yourself

@allknowing _Reminds me of an anecdote about US pres. Coolidge. When a lady remark at a dinner party,"You go to so many dinners they must bore you a great deal". Without lifting his eyes from the table, Coolidge replied, "Well, a man has to eat somewhere."
Pres. Calvin Coolidge was known as a man of few words and wasn't a good conversationalist at the table.

@allknowing That's a cool prize! I think most people would expect food and dessert to be the main feature. One time a friend of mine told all of us to come to her party with an appetite, and all she had was candy !

It was a loofah with a handle to make brushing the back easy. (lol)
Food and dessert I suppose is a common feature at every party (ll)

You can have the same spirit even at family gatherings. When I was living in the city I used to gather the family at our place and have games, singing, dancing and ofcourse eating. . I hardly have anyone here.
