Hello fellow myLot people! Man...T>UESDAY.....yep that is how it dragged out. At least for me it did. Today was a small bit better than yesterday. Although I did get micromanaged once, that was about it. My boss did corner me this morning and ask if I was okay because I wasn't "chatty." Of course, I can't tell her how I really feel, so I just smile and say, "I am fine!" How I really felt? Well, I shall get into that... So my coworkers and I all come into the workplaces at different times...staggered times if you will. We were missing one coworker and I thought nothing about it. Besides, with this one coworker not there, it was quieter. Anyhoo, I decided to take my "bathroom break." I come back into the office and everyone is gathered round my boss who is opening her quite extensive collection of Christmas gifts that the coworker who I said was not there brought in while I was away. So by the time I came back, my boss had already opened everything and was putting it all away. So what does this do to my self worth? Makes it turn in for a nosedive. It was almost like diving into a swimming pool that had no water. But luckily for me, I held it together and just kept my mouth shut so I didn't have to worry about being picked on. So yeah..it made me want to tell my boss, Hell no I am not okay! Why is it I am not so important? Why is it okay that I was not there when you opened your precious gifts?? And lastly, why is it the coworker, who was late, never gets lashings or micromanaged, yet I just breathe on days and get micromanaged? I don't know you all, it is a living hell. I tell you. But what can I do? Just grit my teeth and go on. Moving on...we are a mere six days away from Christmas. Well at least where I am. Some of you are closer to five days away probably. I am sorta looking forward to...the food...yeah...stuffing my face again...with fudge and ham lol. Well I hope you all had a fantastic day. Only 24 more hours to freedom. Till tomorrow lads, cheerio!
