Do you believe a mobile app for a non profit organization can really help for charity?

Hello, I am working on an app for the non profit organisation Papillon Foundation in South Africa. I am thinking different ways to help the people in need there, I am just a young man 23 years old that want to make a Christmas gift for the kids there. People will be able to donate through my app and also check social networks the non profit is active. Do you think an app for that organization is a better and valuable gift than giving direct money to them?

You can ask the manager of the organisation what helps them more. I have no idea why you think that members of this site would know the answer.

Congrats on helping a charity. Even though I am from South Africa I have never heard of them. It's not surprising though considering we have so many charities. Curious why you are not helping Greece (it's closer).

Give a group a bucket of fish, you feed them for a few hours; design-&-build a better fish-catching tool which you give to them, you help them feed themselves for as long as the tool stays the best available.

I don't believe that a application helps a organisation .it's better to help them directly.

It helps because people can donate through it!
