Birds keep flying into my window.

Every now and then; a bird would fly into one one of my windows at home. I guess they do not see the glass in the window. I am going to do an internet search to see if anybody has written anything on why birds do this. I might have to buy something to keep birds away.
Have you heard about birds flying into windows like this?

put something on the window like a brightly colored sticker.that way if they're not stupid they'll veer away when they see it.

This is very very common!
I've read different articles about why they do this... some have said that they see their own reflection in the window and think its a mate/competitor. Others state that it's simply because they don't know the glass is there.
