I AM TRAVELLING IN THE TRAIN DURING PICK HOURS WHEN ALL THE ARE GOING TO OFFICE AND DO NOT EVEN GET A PLACE TO STAND.BUT I ENJOY A LOT.I'LL RATE IT AS 7.5/10

Never been to mumbai but know that it is real difficult to travel in local trains.

I would rate this journey 100%..the number of experiences you gain by travelling in a local train in mumbai ..you dont get it anywhere else.You can confirm this from anybody who regularly travels by local train.Its a gr8 experience.

oh, its a nighmare, you'd be happy not to get robbed, mugged, or kidnapped, or thrown out in the middle of the route, i would never travel by it again, no matter what, i'd prefer walking for days!!!

its horrible..especially is the peak hours .I used to travel by trains to Bandra to my college and i used to have such terrible experiences..gosh!!! now i am working and i take bus instead of trains..though it takes some time but still convenient then trains...

I used to travel from Sion to Bombay VT by Local Train till 1976.( Therafter my Office Vehicle used to pick me up & drop me home, hence no local journey.) In those days the crowd was not much, & first class compartment had many vacant seats. These days it is suffocating from what I gather.But it is fast and cheap mode of transport.
