Some of you may remember my friend, Leah. She and another friend came for Christmas dinner on the 23rd.
The dessert Pretty and I bought was a caramel cake Let's just say that cakewas delicious!!!
Leah claimed it was better than sex!
Well, until I looked at her with a slightly startled expression! Then she changed it to "some sex"!
Have you ever eaten something that could favorably compare with good sex?

@DaddyEvil Everything is good if you like it. I hate the taste of caramel, but I love dark chocolate.

@LadyDuck You will make me drool if we talk about dark chocolate and caramel at the same time, Anna...

I see... (I started to say you don't know what you're missing, but you actually do know what caramel tastes like... )
I've got no cheeky comebacks for you, Anna. I am sorry you dislike caramel. I think it is one of the best flavors in existence.

@DaddyEvil thanks for the compliment. i have been where you are and haven't forgotten. i know you don't believe it now but there will come a time. never thought that was an addiction i could give up but as they say, if you don't use it you loose it. hope you find those or that partner many times so you will have fond memories like i do.

@bunnybon7 I already have plenty of great memories, Bonnie! (grinning at you!)
I believe I will keep my "addiction" for a while longer...
Uhm... it's not that I don't believe that time will come, but that I don't want to think about all the OLD people out there that are still "addicted", too! (My mind kinda shuts down when thoughts like that show up!)
Your writing and the thoughts you express point to a much younger person than what you claim to be! I hope it is okay if I just think of you as about 40 years old.

It was SO good, Michelle! Believe it or not, we bought it on discount at Wally World! It is normally a $15 cake but we got it for $3.75!
*DE looks around... * I see you forgot to send any cookies my way, though... *DE folds his arms across his chest and sticks out his bottom lip... *
Thank you! I do hope your holidays will be as nice as ours were!

@infatuatedbby Thank you! (I think I will try the pistachio. You may have the other two.)
Pretty and I both stayed in bed most of the day, today. We only got up long enough to give each other the gifts we bought. LOL! I think we both were tired enough we just slept all day!

@JudyEv Really? May I ask why you almost didn't respond to this discussion, Judy? (Did it seem like I was being rude or something in my discussion starter? You are the second person who said that. When I ask the other person the reason, she deleted her response... I'm not sure why she deleted it, either. *shrug!*)
It does worry me, just a bit... (Shake my head!)

Pretty woman... Let me know all naughty tales ...I so love to hear it all from you...Evil Grin. On a serious note, why is it that men feel inclined to kiss and tell. Now everybody knows who we are talking about, and that you and her have been more intimate. If you like it, enjoy it. Do you want others to confirm that this is enjoyment or is score card an additional source of enjoyment? I hope @TheHorse can help shed some light on what I read as insecurities of men in this respect.

@DaddyEvil Then it is fine. :) I think people who lack sense of humor are inclined to use such stories to get attention of others. So basically, it is men who are uni-dimensional that step out to tell stories and more often than not, concocted ones as they feel that elevates them in the targeted group. People who are knowledgeable, sensitive, and have well developed sense of humor and sense of self, would know how to captivate others without resorting to such gimmicks.

@vandana7 I have wondered why some men tell the stories they tell when they know if the woman they are telling the stories about heard it, they would likely be ashamed that he told the story, whether it is true or not.
Leah knows I am teasing her as much as I am teasing others when I tell the story like that. I would never tell a story that might hurt her feelings or make her feel insecure. I am just not made that way, vanny.

Not all men kiss and tell, vanny. I wouldn't normally kiss and tel, either. Leah told me it would be okay if I told this story. She watches to see what others will say.
I might have embellished something in the story, but I did tell her what I was going to say. She laughed and told me to tell it just that way.
When two people are friends who know each other as well as Leah and I know each other, there are no insecurities or need for insecurities between us. (I don't know why others tell intimate details. I suggest them to make the story funnier.)
