We have all heard the things people have convinced themselves about christians. I also was one of the people convinced of these lies. Here are some of the myths people believe about christians
1. Christians hate gays. On the contrary christians love everyone, true christians don't hate anyone and if they discuss something that is taught to be wrong then they do it in a loving way.
2. Christians are hateful and rude. Again true christians are not. True Christians are commanded to be honest but loving and kind as well.
3. Christians who celebrate Christmas are fake. Absolutely not. The whole concept of Christmas is giving to others. God was the very first one to start this by giving his son Jesus for the world. The difference is, pagans worshipped the tree, Christians worship Jesus and we give what we can everyday, not just on christmas.
4. Christians think they are better than everyone. Once again, true christians do not. On the contrary, True Christians have faith and hope that even though we deserve God's wrath, he will show his love and mercy to an undeserving people through Jesus.
5. Christians are not allowed to get angry. That is again wrong. Christians are allowed to get angry, but with anger comes hateful words which is not allowed. True Christians have self discipline and they correct others in truth and love. (Truth is love)
I will add more when I can think of them but I hope this clears up some of the confusion on why "christians" are such hateful people.

I'm not sure if they do anymore but I do know they used to. My point to that was to correct the people that think Christians shouldn't celebrate Christmas because "it's pagan"when the pagans celebrated Christmas in a completely different way.

Yes you're right it is awful but that's what the devil wants. He wants to convince people that God and his people are evil because he thinks somehow that will save him in the end. People think that hurting others is just human nature. In a way it is but it stems from Satan. He wants one thing only and that is to destroy love because if people unite in love then he loses. Even though he already has.
