The 29th of this month will mark one year since my father passed away due to cancer. Four days after Christmas. I know he's in a much better place and he is no longer suffering but it doesn't change the pain felt from missing him. He taught me so many important life lessons. I will never understand why so much is being spent on cancer research with very little success of finding a cure. Some people think the cure has already been found, some think that the government has known the cure all along and is hiding it from the public so that they can keep profiting from chemo and radiation treatments. Either way cancer is horrible and I don't wish it on anyone. Being forced to watch your loved ones suffer in so much pain and watching them slowly get weaker until death sucks. My prayer is that all deadly diseases be cured and no family has to suffer or watch their loved ones suffer anymore.
