Which is better, call center or home-based?

I've been looking for a stable home-based job for a month and apparently I keep on bumping w/ scammers. I used to work in the BPO for 4 years and I'm thinking to go back in case I wouldn't be able to get a remote job. If you were in my shoes, what would you consider?

I would prefer call center office-based for now because of the HMO benefits. I am considering MyOutdesk as my homebased work because they provide HMO coverage. You can try that.

I'm thinking of going back to the corporate world and yes it's because of the benefits. Not all home-based jobs provide hmo and other types of benefits. Checked their page before and they need a backup pc. I only have a laptop but I have a backup internet connection.

@hereandthere I spoke with one of their Associates and they're looking for someone who has prior exp in Appointment setting. Unfortunately, my exp would just be for IB and OB calling.

I think the words "home based job" for you is something that, you need to invest and wait. It's not a job actually, and most of the scammers used that words, wait and earn. Try the humanatic if you want to be like in a bpo job inside your home. or the upwork. most recommended actually. the upwork.

@Shortail as far as I know yes but they still have to review your profile. Based on the email that I've received, it would take them roughly around 5 days to review and they'll get back to you for the feedback.

I think I prefer home-based. Mainly because I hate the commute, especially in our country.

Business process outsourcing. It's where people are being outsourced either to take in calls, answer queries via chat or email.

I think you can do both. You can work in BPO then you can also work as a part-timer in the online world.

@hereandthere No, I haven't tried it but I have a neighbor that works in BPO and the same time doing a part-time job online. She said that it helps a lot to do an online job in her free time she can earn extra income from it. From what I've heard her co-workers make approximately 40K for doing online job. But it depends on what skills can you offer in online.

It depends on yout experience and what you want to do. Im from Manila and it would be nice to have a home based job. Maybe 50/50 kind of job, going to the office and occassionally permitted to work at home, if you have stable internet.
