My myLot Statistics

# 100 This will be my last discussion in 2017. I don’t know why but I choose what may be the most boring subject to end the year. You all just have to bear it with me – so here goes: * Discussions – this one makes the total to 287 with the following breakdown: 100 in January to December 2012 2 in 2013 (one in March and one in April) 85 in August to December 2015 50 in January to December 2016 and 50 in January to December 2017 * Responses and Mentions – I find it very interesting that my numbers for them are about the same at around 10700k. * Comments – at around 16600+ they make up 60% of my total posting activities. My Responses make up 39% of the total. So my Discussions only make up 1% of my total posting activities which currently is at around 27700+ * Likes – okay, thanks to my habitual liking everywhere as I read through here, it is now at a whooping 191.7k – the only 6-figure statistic I have… * At this point my Followers number is exactly three times my Following number. I have 999 Followers and I am Following 333. Whoever follows me next will be my 1000th Follower, how cool is that, no? Okay, I bore you enough with all these statistics. The numbers won’t stay as such for long, but this is about how they stand at the end of 2017. Have a Happy New Year myLotters! May 2018 brings much blessings and happiness to all!

Under "likes" it's the only 6 figure digit you have..... for now. :-) Happy Mylotting!

Most of them are just right there on my profile page... I just 'froze' them on this discussion as I know they will keep changing and I like to have a record of what they were at this point...

Well, it looks like you could set a goal to top 2012. I don't take time to do these kinds of statistics, besides, I've already deleted some of my really old stuff that almost no one responded to. Did you take that photo?

Actually, 2015 would be my most productive year. The 100 discussions in 2012 was over 12 months at around 8 discussions a month. While the 85 discussions in 2015 was only over 5 months at around 17 discussions a month or over twice as many as in 2012. Yes, I took the picture at the same time when my husband spontaneously took me to the beach after work 3 discussions back...

The stats can be very interesting sometimes. One day I'm going to work out how many comments/responses I make in a 24-hour period.

Allow me if you would to give you an 'average' based on your current statistics. There are 424 days since the day you joined to today. You've made 42542 Responses or an average of around 100 responses a day. You've made 58934 Comments or an average of around 139 comments a day. What you can do is to write down your numbers and the time when you log off. Then you check the numbers again 24 hours later. You can then see if it has been your more active/average/less active day based on the averages I worked out for you. How's that?

@JudyEv No worries... Math is really more complex and sophisticated than what I do here... I just like to work with numbers and to try working out simple calculations with them, that's all.

@sishy7 That's wonderful. My mouth is open in awe! Thank you so much. I'm going to copy and paste your comment so when I remember to make a note of when I start in the morning I'll still have the stats at the ready. You must really like your maths!

Wow! A worthy wander through the wily wonders of myLot's statistics, brilliant! Maybe you'll make a post à week in 2018, 52 in total, same as the number of cards in a standard deck, not counting jokers. After all, you've to make the most of the hand you are dealt

Or maybe I'll just continue the trend of 50 discussions in 2018. That's only 4 discussions a month but I'm not 'forced' to come up with one every week... Plus I have rooms for 2 more in case I'm suddenly inspired to post more. Hey, Happy New Year pgn! Health and happiness to you and yours in 2018!

@sishy7 That's a good idea, leave a little slack in the schedule, just in case. After all, the quicker you fall behind, the more time you have left to catch up... Happy New Year, hope 2018 is good to you!

Not as high as many others on here... Take your activities for example, your total in just two years is nearly twice mine who's been here since 2012. And my number of discussions would be considered one of the lowest average compared to others.

I never check those details on my profile page. The only thing I notice is the number of "interaction" I made here that is pretty high, may be the highest after Patsie Hatley, but she joined the site 6 years before I did.

That would be something not too easy to pin point since our earnings depend on the interactions we receive from other members on our posts of discussions/responses/comments.

I started out majoring in Mathematics but changed my major in my Sophomore year... I have always been obsessed with numbers for some reasons though... It's easy for me to stay within 50 discussions a year. I don't have much to say to begin with, and after posting out 85 discussions within just 5 months in 2015 I guess I was really running out of things to say...
