None of that is very important as far as earning is concerned - the more responses and comments each post gets, the more it earns. What is important is that you should interact with others in a relevant and meaningful way because that is what will tend to make others want to interact with you. If you have nothing much interesting or useful to add to a discussion, then people will be less inclined to be interested in what you say and want to interact with you. That is all there is to it.
