Unbelievable!

It happened again! I was out shopping with my husband yesterday at my, not his, most favorite store in the world, when it happened again.
While my husband was struggling to maneuver my large shopping bags around the cosmetic section of the department store, the woman who was helping me with cosmetics led me to the perfume counter of the brand I prefer.
I saw a salesgirl there who remembered me from a previous trip, and also remembered my brother. She had given me a free $375 bottle of perfume. She wants to see my brother again when he returns. I will drag him there if I have to when he returns to Florida next week.
But the new perfume woman who helped me yesterday was also very nice. It turns out she lives in the complex where we have close friends. She didn't know them, but knows friends from my town back home who winter there. She actually does yoga with my friend and knows her husband and their daughters my boys went to school with! Small world!!! She will tell our friends she met us.
I bought two bottles of new scents, and I received a third bottle, a bottle for my husband, and about 30 samples for each of us, gratis!
It's not what you know, but who you know! Small world again, too. Love it!

My father in law was telling me a story the other night. Years ago when he was young his family was driving back from Florida and stopped at a resturant to eat and saw a family from our little town eating there too who were on their way to Florida. It was actually relatives of the wife he has now.

lol Now that is a good deal. I haven't bought a new perfume in a while. I was walking in Saks and was given a sample. I didn't buy it that day but I called back the store in New York on Monday and they told me what they were sampling that day and mailed it to me for free, now that is service lol

Great photo! I'm happy your new friend is so generous. Ah yes. it is indeed who you know in this life. The only similar story I have is when the man working at the Mexican restaurant used to give me a free taco here and there, lol. not the same as a fancy perfume.
