What is the Worst thing that happened in politics in the year 2017?

Hi! myLotters!
Well, I am not any expert in politics but I am interested in politics. The worst thing in my point of view that happened in the world in the refugee problem that occurred in Myanmar. This is still not solved.
I hope 2018 will be the great days for all those refugees from all over the world.
This is very disappointing for any nation to have such a huge refugee problem. We must thank the Bangladesh for providing shelter despite several difficulties out there!
Well, that is the thing I have seen to be the worst thing in politics. So, what do you think about it? Do you think the same or is there any other thing that you think happened worst in the world? I am curious to know.

@creativeaashish I did not like the president that was just elected in my country. But other countries do worse.

Worst thing that happened in politics in the year 2017? Perhaps it's that I don't expect too much from politicians. I don't think events of 2017 were significantly better or worse than the previous year and don't think the new year will be filled with extraordinary happenings. It's just politics and in America, our politics is pretty much boiled down to not getting anything done, unless it has to do with taxes! Seems like an American politician is just not worth his or her "salt" if they can't do something about the tax law!

Yeah, I agree with you! But refugee problem is the most unsolved problem for 2017 which is worst. That's my opinion.
