Just Waiting...

I have filled out tons of job applications in the last week and a half. And have had a couple of interviews that have lead to second interviews. I am just burnt out on job applications. So I'm taking a couple days break. I hate not working. My boyfriend makes plenty of money so if I wanted to, I could be a stay at home mom. But I love to work, be busy, and interact.
I am trying to figure out other ways to make money but everything requires a unique skill or niche.
I even tried the site that you pay a minimum of $5 for a service and I haven't had any luck so far. Hopefully soon!
And so I guess I will just wait to hear back from those two second interviews. Fingers crossed!

I am not sure how the job market is these days, I remember when I was looking they would say over 300 people applied to one job, They couldn't interview me and had numerous 2nd interviews. it is quite stressful.

There are plenty of jobs here in Colorado. You just have to be adamant with it. It is a stressful experience. Usually I take my sweet time as I am currently working. But this last job opportunity I took let me go out of the blue with no warning. So now I am in a low-key panic because I am not bringing any money in. We will still be okay with bills and food. But its nice having extra money to save, help others out, and generally live comfortably.

@taciaelisepeace you will find something soon, the company I used to work for used to cut people too no warning. He did it to save money, then higher someone in with lower pay.

@CookieMonster46 Unfortunately a lot of businesses do that. The company I worked for prior to my last loved to hire a ton of temps, and keep everyone temp so they could let people go at any time for no reason. I left because I had been there for a couple years and was still temp with no benefits. There were people who were there for 4 years and were still temp. The hire on rate was low and only if you are extremely favored.

Yes, I am not the stay-at-home mom type at all. I rather bring in income. Thank you!

I feel you on this. The frustration must be through the roof! I work a fulltime job and I was looking for a parttime to work from home, even if only for a few hours a day.
I did find one for an hour a day, no more than 7 hours per week.
I look at it this way, it is a start and I am always looking to see what other opportunities are out there.
Persistence will pay off.
Do not give up.
Something will come your way.

@cmw4562 I got offered the assessment but by the time they offered it to me I was working full time again and trying to adjust to mommy life. The assessments looked long. Now I wish I took it because they dont have any openings haha.

Yeah its a frustrating situation. I haven't been unemployed in years, usually when I job hunt I am still working so there's not rush in the process
