You should bear the pain to get good relief. This was suggested by my friend when I was suffering from knee pain. He advised me to keep the leg straight and to do some bending exercise for the foot.I was feeling terrific pain. He also advised me to take a long walk. Not to care the pain I was getting.
I did it with a lot of difficulties and have not cared the pain while doing so.
After few days I am feeling a lot of relief. I am feeling happy now. Today I am recollecting him.
We have to bear the pain if at all we want any relief.

yeah. This is not due to cold. Some old injuries like striking against some table or some obstruction coming in the way while walking etc.,

I fell in my bathtub in I think 1988 on my right side and the doctor I went to said not to do anything for 3 weeks and that was the wrong thing to say. When I hurt my foot my physical therapist said to walk on it and I thought at first she was crazy and then realized she did not what happened to my shoulder to happen to my foot. So, I walked on it and was in pain but it did help.
