It's 2018 and I hate being Fat

Philippines
January 2, 2018 3:27am CST
I was really close back in 2016, but since then it went back from same to worst. No matter how I look at myself it just doesn't feel the same. Which is why I hated seeing myself in the FB pictures. I really envy those who really made improvements on their body and lost weight. Well, I'm just ranting and I couldn't help it because I don't know what made me loose discipline about loosing weight. I want to improve this 2018 because I'm not getting any younger and it's harder to exercise when you have uric acid..I can't even run. How many of you wants desperately to go diet and exercise? I hope some of your can help me..Few tips is appreciated

I managed to lose quite a bit of weight by not eating between dinner and about 11am next day. I've also cut out on snacking but it's probably easier for me because I don't feel hungry at all.

Hello @JudyEv And that was my mistake tonight I gave in to eating snacks again. I wonder what you do to stop being hungry.

@Letranknight2015 Have a big glass of water every time you're tempted to snack. It will help make you feel full and the water is good for you too.

I walk every day and eat lots of vegetables and eat lightly during breakfast and lunch. I do eat a large dinner. I'm not a sweet eater, so perhaps fruit for dessert and a snack.

Hello @DianneN I've been doing my best to avoid chocolates now and have been eating fruits as well. Perhaps I really should stop eating at night, it might make a difference.

@Letranknight2015 They say not to eat anything after dinner and too many fruits are high in calories. Fresh veggies are lower in calories. And hello! lol

AH. I know the feeling. However there are worse things to be than fat. I know, I too want to change - it is hard though. I finding changing in little bits helps. Add a 10 minute walk here. Do a 30 minute exercise video.... those things help me

Hello @FayeHazel My walk is usually 30 minutes minimum specially when I'm heading to my brother's house. But this morning I just use my treadmill bike.

Hi. I am also on a journey to lose about 40 more pounds after losing 60ish last year. You can do it! Once you start seeing progress it will motivate you to keep on track. Do you belong to a gym? Start an exercise routine and start cutting out junk and eating more fruits and veggies.

Hello @maezee I can myself jumping in joy even for loosing 40 pounds, that would be a huge improvement for me. No, I don't go to gym, this is why I got exercise equipment so that I could do it at home instead.

If exercise and diet all fail, try being seen with people who are fatter than you. That way you'll look slimmer to others. Only post these kind of pictures in your FB.

Hello @kritis How is that liquid diet even works? well, good luck with that.

Last year I lost quite a bit of weight by walking. The thing is that you have to do at least 60 minutes a day and moderate your eating if you want to burn a few more calories. But you can definitely start with 30 minutes a day and increase it as you get better. I'm not big on exercise, so walking was perfect. Maybe you can start with that? It's low impact and easy to do every day.

Hello @hellcatinnc What has the doctors told you on dealing with it? We all have to try and exercise a little bit. I'm not really gonna shock myself or I will experience that arthritis again.
