Tasting Hostess Brownies made with Butterfinger

The first 99 Cents Store discovery of the new year. This Hostess product comes six individually wrapped brownies to a box totaling 10.58 oz. The last Butterfinger candy flavored treat I tried was ice cream that was better than these brownies. Not that the brownies are bad tasting. They are okay enough chocolate taste wise. The issue is where is the Butterfinger flavor? The hard top chocolate coating contains what appears to be minute Butterfinger bits but I could not really taste them. So these Hostess brownies are a pass in the future.

That sounds like if it was better executed then it would be a really yummy treat. Too bad they weren't good. I've never seen these though.

Just because I did not care for them does not mean you might not like them. But they didn't taste Butterfinger.

With that low price, they sure could not afford to put too much Butterfinger bits.

Not having enough Butterfinger in a product is a sin.

Wow I'm shocked when I saw the photo I thought OMG I have to go buy a box they are going to be so good. I guess its pretty much like all the other Hostess products that look and sound amazing but are not!

I agree you need to be able to taste the butterfinger in butter finger brownies.

I love butterfingers but I don't particularly care for brownies especially not hostess brownies.

That’s too bad. They used to make a Butterfinger hot chocolate mix (I think Nestle made it). Man, was it good...all the taste of a Butterfinger, plus it didn’t stick to your teeth!!!
