Instagram or Facebook?

I have both. I like how facebook opens up a window for connections. You can connect with old friends and distant family. You can join numerous groups. Facebook opened up a marketplace where you can buy and sell. It is one of the best ways you grow your business. Personally Facebook has turned into a venting tirade. Every time I log in, the first several posts are always someone complaining. It makes it sort of hard to keep a positive mindset when all you read is complaint after complaint. Instagram has really evolved into a social media platform that keeps you entertained. It started off with simply posting pictures with a few filters. Now they have a snap chat element where you can post disappearing pictures and videos. You can easily discover new pages. I've noticed this is where artists thrive and can grow their business. Instagram acts as their professional portfolio. Personally I love instagram. I go there for motivation and inspiration. Negative posts do not get much attention and can make your profile look bad. I love how everyone shares moments of their life in a positive and creative way. I follow food pages, workout pages, various art pages, and positive quotes pages. I always feel good after reading through my instagram feed. How about you? Which do you prefer and why?

I agree that Facebook has become a place where people come to complain, very few positive people there. I do not have an Instagram account.

I can see that. Really, we don't need any social media in our lives.

First of all let me tell you that Facebook and Instagram is owned by the same company. Facebook has some advantages but it depends upon the person, how he uses it. I am not much active on Facebook. If I have time I would like to spend it on mylot, rather than on Facebook. I am on Instagram and I enjoy posting my pictures and checking what others are posting. Pictures of food, weather, nature, trees, flowers, snow and individuals makes one feel good.

@taciaelisepeace It does not matter if you did not research about the sites. Yes, myLot is far better than Facebook and more productive. Yes, on Instagram, we could see what we like. It is a kind of visual delight.

I didn't know that! I honestly never bothered to research either site, this is all what I gathered from observations. Now that I found MyLot I haven't been on facebook since. I can relate to you there with Instagram. I love how you can fill your feed with what you enjoy seeing.

@taciaelisepeace it is a game site. some play free, you can, just to check it out. pogo .com. some join the club where you get to play a lot more , keep track of friends, dress a mini, etc. only thing is you can get addicted. i pay 40 bucks a year for club but i enjoy it so much i feel it is worth it. some don't feel it is. plus if you join and put in your credit card info, you have to take that back out because otherwise you get an annual charge. most just play free where no card is required.

@taciaelisepeace I go in and there are times I want to check things out and if there is someone I got a message of their birthday I will wish them a Happy 'Birthday and look at certain groups I belong to and my messages and then out again and may go back and check my messages later. I spend a lot of time on My Lot these days.
