I have heard a lot of good things about 'Memoirs of Geisha' but haven't read it yet. I am currently reading Tell Tales by Jeffery Archer.

@swalia You are a voracious reader and I highly appreciate you for it.I managed to read only a few books in 2017.Most of them are Hindi novels by great writers like Premchand,Dinkar,Jagdamba Preasad Dixit and a book published way back in 1930s and banned by the then British rulers- "Bharat Mein Angrezi Raj".

You have read some real gems. I have never heard of this banned book. How was it?

@Shivram59 I can understand the reason for banning it.

I read a lot. The only one on your list I read was The Prophet (23), which is a lovely book.

I read all the time but I never set challenges for myself. Why should I? Do I need to show off? No, I don't.

I have set a challenge for myself this year because I want to read more books. I feel that taking up a challenge and keeping a track of what I read will help me read more quality books.
