Handling Stress

I just left my work as a Customer Service Representative last December 28, 2017. Yey! Happy New Year! I'm jobless! But, that's my choice, I know. The main reason why I resigned is because the job is causing me too much stress that my mind and body can't handle it anymore. I tried to stay in this kind of industry for a year, I'm thinking maybe I'm still adjusting, but the stress won't go away. So, I now got rid of that stressful work, but the problem now is getting a new one and hoping that it'll not be as stressful. Any advice on how to handle stress effectively?

that's good you finally decide to quit the job. As it says, health is wealth. I am sure there are still lots of jobs out there whom you will enjoy in the near future.

Happy New Year to you! Well, it's good that you made the decision to leave a job that wasn't making you happy and causing you undue stress. I suffered from stress due to working in a job in the city and I had to leave that job and now I have a job that I am comfortable with and has a more relaxed pace. In terms of handling the stress there is something you could do and that is to take up regular swimming. I don't know if that interests you but that is what I do and I feel great and this helps to keep stress far at bay. You have a little time to do something you enjoy even if swimming is not for you. Anyway, best of luck for the New Year and also hope you find a job that suits you, a job that you love.

Go to mylot? hahaha Whenever I'm stressed, I just do my journals, watch tv, mylot, etc. I used to do yoga and that was very helpful too. I think it's up to you to find your means of escape. Find a hobby or find something that you can do while at work to make you forget that you are stressing.

Well, certain jobs tend to be more stressful. I think perhaps the job nature does not suit you. Perhaps, you can try other jobs. As for handling stress, it is important to make time for travelling, exercising etc. I personally like to food-hunt with my friends.

Right, seems like the job doesn't suit me. I'm hoping to have a job that will give me a balanced life.. to do those activities, so that I won't be stressed to much.
