My New Weightloss Journey

About a week ago I decided I am tired of my extra body fat and it's time for me to do something about it. I set out to lose a total of 50lbs. As of now, after about a week of counting calories and walking on the treadmill my friend just gave me, I have gained 1 pound and lost no inches. I am a bit discouraged but no where close to giving up! I am not following any kind of extreme diet or "fad diet". I am simply watching my calorie intake to create deficit and getting some exercise on the treadmill. So, I don't expect to see major weight-loss results quick, I know it will take time. I am just trying to stay as positive as I can. Even if I don't lose anything, I am eating better and exercising, which I wasn't before. I would just eat anything I wanted, totally unaware of my calorie intake and was very inactive. At least now I am making healthy choices. It's a lifestyle change, and I am hoping that I can stick to it! Any weight-loss stories, experiences, suggestions, encouragement or support is welcome on this discussion and very much appreciated!

You should know how much calories burned and how much of your calorie intake. Also you should know how much calorie to take in to remain at the same weight.

It's good so far, not seen any results yet but it really hasn't been long enough. I just have to stay motivated and not give up and I am sure I will see some results!
