Cryptocurrencies do not go down all at the same time, when some are up, some are down. When it's down, its mostly due to a " price correction ", meaning those holding a certain type are taking their profit by selling their stash usually following a high spike in price. There are over a thousand cryptos so they cannot go down all at once.
