Wandering Pet

Has anyone ever come across a wandering pet? I did come across one today in my neighbourhood. Guess what? It was a very cute puppy, with fluffy brown furs and beautiful bright eyes. It looked so restless and frightened. I guess it must have missed its way as it appears to be searching frantically for its way back home to her owner. I felt very pity for her and thought of how to help. I had to pick her up and tried to assuage her nerves before taking her to the authorities responsible for pet control to assist in locating its true owner. Hey! I was alarmed with myself as I kept on thinking about that little cute puppy. Does anyone have a similar experience?

I have once adopted a stray cat. I offered her shelter and food and now she's all grown up. =)

That was quite kind of you@Honey145. I'm so sure you would always be happy with yourself when you see her now all grown up. If she were human, she probably would remain eternally grateful for saving her life.
