He thought he could retire his Dad!

I saw this video in you tube and this is something I didn't expect to see. This person actually had a dream of giving money to his dad and wants him to retire. Unfortunately, despite of his offer of one hundred thousand dollars (100,000$) He refused. But he still gave his money to him and left his dad crying. He's definitely an inspiration compare to that other guy who makes a mockery of suicide.
This made me so happy. I'm so blessed to be put in a position where I'm able to retire my own father from work. Thank you so much for making this possible. I...

Of course when your old and send your children to school and have good future it doesn't mean you have to stop now. Didn't he know working is passion when you are old already because its your work for a long time and suddenly you stop. I have seen many dads like that, they send his children to become doctor or attorney and yet they continue their work as janitor or shoe polisher.

Hello @ilocosboy I think you become rusted and lazy when you stop working. So, I think it's a bad idea for him to retire specially in the US when he's business is very successful.

Not only in US but even in our country, maybe this is the reason why many of them return to farming.

Because for me, we cannot buy or i must say money cannot replace the self fullfilment of being useful while working.

What do you mean because of you? @cttolledo well, it was his dad's passion to work on his business. I think it's too early to retire him when he can still do it.

That is so sweet of him! What a kind son. I wouldn't be able to accept that kind of money though either. I've been given $5000 and I put it in the bank so when they need that money someday for something I can give it back to him.
