Friday Coffee Talk

Happy Friday Everyone!
It's a rainy dismal day here today but it's going to be another crazy temperature day. From zero degrees today we're going to see almost 70 degrees F which is spring-like weather. However, it won't last long and this rain will be turning into freezing rain my morning when the temperatures plummet once again below the freezing mark. What a crazy roller coaster ride with the weather.
On a happy note, I was able to buy a new coffee maker and I'm happy to say that I'm enjoying a nice, HOT cup of coffee as I sit here and chat with everyone.
I didn't get the coffee maker I really wanted (too pricey) but I got a simple Mr. Coffee and it was definitely affordable. It works fine, doesn't have any bells and whistles and I can't believe how much hotter my coffee is when I pour that first cup. My old machine did it's job but now I can see it was really struggling to keep up.
Yesterday turned out to be a busy day and I didn't have much time to spend here.
All in all life is good here. How about you?

Your NH is a bit worse than Pennsylvania. This winter makes me wish I had a place in Florida
glad you got the new coffee pot. I have had a few different Mr.Coffee machines and they worked great for the cost especially! I am having a cup of cappuccino and cleaning and popping on mylot in between chores.@shaggin (72131)

Hurrah on your new coffee pot, it is hard to live without one. We had a quiet day, went out shopping at Bealls with a $10 off $25 and could not find anything I needed so we went out to lunch lol

Yes, I like a really hot cup of coffee. My coffee maker does a good job. I always like to warm the cup with hot water first because it keeps the coffee hot longer, It's raining like crazy today. Hope it quits as I have to go out this evening,
