There are many beliefs and religions all claiming to be the right one, I will probably discuss that at another time but for now let's talk about Christianity. Many people say "How can you believe in a God that you don't see?" Well the answer is God is not physically seen. He is "seen" by the heart and by faith. Let's think about the question why believe in something you can't see, There are many physically blind people in the world and by saying that it's dumb to believe in a God we "can't see". You're basically calling everything in the world non existent to the physically blind. They can't see it, yet they know it's there because they have other senses than sight, they have feeling, hearing, smelling etc. Christians walk by faith, not by sight. We don't have to see God to know he's there. If you have to see something to believe in it's existence then it's not faith. This is not intended to knock the belief of any one else, It is simply to further explain the Christian faith.
Have a good day and God bless.

The first thing God pointed out to me is that mankind carries such a narrow view. I cry that. I work on mine every day.
We all look at this world, but what do each of us really see? God gave everyone a different view to guaranty mankind a larger view than any one person could have.
In this time-based causal universe God's actions can be seen. Further, God's actions can not be altered by mankind as with holy books. The path to understanding God stares us all in the face. The question you so wisely brought up: Can you see?

God gave us all free will. His intentions were free will to serve him but we use it to believe what we want. Everyone has different beliefs and that's fine. I choose to believe the bible.

You're right, there are so many things we have faith in. Like I have faith that the chair I'm about to sit down on won't get up and walk away before I do. And I have faith that night will follow day. So it's not hard to have faith in a God I can't see with my eyes. I see him with my heart.

Some of those slight differences can have a great consequence though. But as I said in my blog I will probably discuss that later.
