I am sure that some people do not realize that high school teachers are human beings who do feel sad when a loved pet dies. Case in point is Joshua High School math teacher Tonya Andrews who was sad because her cat who lived 16 years died recently. However this story is living proof of the saying "Joy comes in the morning." when her students Ashlei Mahan and Rachel Ranhart must have heard about the bad news that their math teacher pet had died and they wanted to cheer her up by giving her a present of two kittens they presented to their math teacher as a gift from them to her. The reaction of Tonya receiving a gift from her students which were two kittens to replace the cat she lost due to old age is priceless since Tonya was very happy that her students cared enough to fill her heart with happiness by giving her two kittens to be her friends for life.

That is true since the news media seldom reports these kinds of stories.

That is sweet of the kids bjt may have also hurt the teacher, if she wasn't ready to have another pet yet or not wanting another to not go through the same again..

If a person wants them kittens can make lovely gifts. Recently, our family gave away two puppies as gift.

That is true since most of the cats that live in the home are adopted either through a friendly neighbor or gift from friends.

Two kittens to replace a cat that passed away recently is a great bargain.
