Another death...

So I heard from my cousin that my uncle died this morning. It was only last week that his dad was buried and he followed him to his grave.
This made me recall all the memories I had with my Uncle when I was a kid. He was my mom's favourite brother and they had a really good love and hate relationship. My Uncle was kind of the black sheep in the family and it was my mother who always saved him. So when my parents died, he was devastated. His saviour was gone, and no one was there to help him no longer.
He became an alcoholic, beat up his wife when he was drunk, and never really cared about his children anymore. And now he's dead and he's with his parents and his favorite sister, his saviour.
May you rest in peace dear Uncle.

@JudyEv I'm sure he is very much happy to be reunited with my mom and his parents. I hope he won't cause problem over there again now that he's with my mom and he knows she will always be there to cover up and fix his faults.

@toniganzon I pin my hopes that, in Heaven, we won't have any problems! And no-one will have any hang-ups or addictions.

I have only good memories of my Uncle. He was a great uncle to me and my siblings. He always tried to make us happy whenever we visited his farm when we were kids.

Always sad when family members are close and then they die close apart too. Sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry, Toni!
Sometimes, though we might not have liked one of our relatives while they were alive, we still feel it when they die. (I don't know how you viewed your uncle, hon, but if there is anything I can do to make you feel better, please tell me. I will do my best to help.)

He may have been a disappointment to his parents, his wife, and children, but I only have good memories of him. My Uncle had always been kind to me and my siblings and he had always given us the same respect he had given my parents.
He wasn't a perfect person, he had his faults, he was a perfect example of a spoiled brat. But as an uncle, he was good.

This is sad to hear, for you. But, maybe your uncle made his peace with God, before he left this earth:)

Having so many deaths in the family which started with my own parents which was a very tragic one, I have come to understand more than anybody else that there is no permanent thing on this earth.

Life's have been like that, sometimes we see some of our precious friends and relative leaving us, we cannot do anything but to be thankful because they give us memories and experiences while we are also walking in our path here in this world.
