My Friend Doggie is Very Friendly

It is not my doggie. It is a street doggie. Yet, it has struck a friendship with me. When I go to the roadside to see off my daughter to school and to receive her when she returns, my doggie friend meets me. She offers me her paw and I take it. She snuggles on my legs. She sometimes scratches my trousers. The parents and guardians at the school gate throw strange looks at us. Some ask, "Why is the dog behaving this way?" I just say, "She is my friend!"
