Do You Believe in the Bible? Why? or Why not?

Yes, I believe in the Bible because it's the word of the living God. Whoever believes in the bible automatically believes in God. On the contrary, whoever does not believe in the bible does not believe in the word of God and, thus, does not believe in God Himself. From Genesis to the book of Revelation, all the verses written down are words spoken by the Almighty God and should be applied by all believers of the word. The Bible is the most genuine book ever that must be strictly read and believed by all men before leaving the world. Everything existed because of the word and through it, all things were made. As a creature, I considered it so compulsory to follow the word of God in the Bible that it may be well with me on earth. I really want to be a success in life, but this is hard to achieve unless I meditate on the word day and night. I believe so much in the Bible because I always see that it's just like a sword through which I can fight the enemies in life.

I have read the Bible (not all of it) and find it very interesting. But I don´t "believe" in the Bible nor in God the way you believe. I´m an agnostic.

@resukill22 It will be easier for you if you read it online. My English is not so good as to be able to explain it. I can only say that I don´t think that I have the possibility of even understanding the concept of God.

Of course, if I believe, the Bible is the word of life, a mandate that God left on earth so that we could live off it. Eternal love that abounds in us.

As a child I was taught by my Baptist grandmother to respect the Bible. And I did. I don't necessary believe in what it says. I think that different religions interpret it in different ways. I also think that it was put together by Constantine to help his rule. Many of the books available were not added to the work. I cannot have faith or believe in something that was not more than fables and such. No real proof of much of it. I am also an agnostic and I question all of the christian beliefs. I do believe in a higher power, however not necessarily that it is God.

What you say is right, even though we have different religion and beliefs, but we have same god.

Yes, I believe the Bible. Why? Israel's existence. There's no human rationale behind Israel's existence.

@resukill22 -- no, but that's God's land. He picked it out and picked the people He'd give it to. And NO charter from the United Nut-cases, ahem, Nations, is going to alter that.

I am a Christian and I read the Bible everyday. I hear God speaking to me through the Bible; but it is rather unacceptable to me to say that one who does not believe in the Bible does not believe in God. I find many good people around me who have never read a word of the Holy Bible but believe in God.

I believe that the Bible is a credible source of information, both as a religious text and a historical document. Specifically, I believe this is so because it has been reliably preserved throughout the ages, has been corroborated by ancient sources, and is supported by archeological findings

Yes, I believe in the Bible. No, I don't believe it is 'everything you say it is.' Yes, I believe 'The Holy Spirit' (the only God-"person" anyone has ever spoken-to directly) inspired- and still inspires-humans to write & speak. But years-&-years of 'experience' (the truest "witness") have made it clear that today's Bible is not "direct from God"---not even directly to 'the pages of the Gutenberg Bible.' The belief that sticks out in my mind is one stated in the Roman Catholics' ritual of the Eucharist (their 'taking communion' ... tho I'm sure I've read supporting passages in The Bible too): "All Creation rightly gives (Our Father God) praise." So I would call The Bible more of 'a primer'---maybe I think of it that way as it's 'the first book I ever read' (or at least 'one of the first' ). It's a book you read and learn well enough that you know how to find 'God's Word' in the real world!
I'm not atheist, but I don't think that G-d's some CEO in 'a skyscraper in a cloud.' But I've always been under the impression that that's what people...

I believe that God send messages through prophets but I don't think that the current bible is a reliable source as it has been interpreted and reinterpreted so many times.Th christian church are not even sure which one to follow as it has been interpreted in different versions. Each christian denomination has its own version and claim their version as the true interpretation.I wonder which one is real and how it's been written.
